Hello, everyone. These are my favorite 20 images from the past year in no particular order. Traveling all over the west was great and I enjoyed every minute. Thanks to those who came along for the ride.

The Wave. We will be going back in mid-March.

The Doll House Ruin. It is in the middle of nowhere, but is so well preserved.

Very creepy old mine near Sunnyside, Utah. It would make a great creepy movie set.

Hiked Moonshine Wash with Paul Titus and Nick Woolley and a few others. Amazing trip.

I almost zoomed passed this while flying home. Now, I am glad I stopped.

Happy Birthday to me. We visited this on my birthday. Great place. Again, in the middle of nowhere.

North of Wendover, Utah/Nevada. Tried a new processing technique. It works.

This one was selected by the Utah Water Photo Project. Fantastic place.

Goblin Valley is just so cool. They make movies and videos there.

We got to visit this in winter and there was some snow on the ground. This is rare for the Moab, Utah area.

This area looks like stretched chocolate and vanilla taffy. This is close to The Wave.

Spiders by the thousands were covering nearly every part of Antelope Island, Utah. Cool, but creepy.

Fantasy Canyon is south of Vernal, Utah. It is in the middle of a huge energy production facility. Very interesting work by nature here.

The slot canyon is Tebowing here. Just check out the colors. Totally Denver Broncos.

Cisco, Utah is a great place to photograph. This is an old post office.

This area is near Stockton, Utah. It was covered in frost, snow and ice like a movie set or something.

One more of The Wave. The wife and I are excited to go back soon.

Traveled to multiple places I had never been to before. Some secret locations very few people know about on this planet. Met Randy Langstraat for the first time. We hunted down the Barnes Panel and High Alcove Panel. It was fun.

The grooves carved in this piece of rock art add to the overall greatness.

The Quail Panel is located in a very remote place cannot disclose. It is difficult to find even when you know exactly where it should be located. I tried to photograph it a little differently.

The Quail Panel is one of my favorites.

Storms rolled by the Ferron, Utah area with nice clouds and light. So, I decided to focus on getting a good black and white landscape. I think I succeeded.

This fence line caught my eye. It had a very strong graphic quality to it.

This waterfall is a short hike from the trailhead which is a few miles outside of Payson, Utah.

Over Memorial Day weekend, me, my wife and her parents visited multiple sites near Blanding, Utah. During this trip, I revisited Cave 7 to get some quality photography time. Also, we visited the Doll House Ruin, Fallen Roof Ruin, Honeycomb Granary and a large crane petroglyph. The Big Crane petroglyph was one that I had been wanting to see for a long time. Rick Schafer shared this one with me.

The Doll House ruin is very remote and difficult to find. But, this keeps it in amazing shape.

Our hike down to the Fallen Roof Ruin was before the heavy winds hit.

The hike to see the Big Crane petroglyph was done in very strong winds.

We saw this ruin with a petroglyph directly above it on the way out of Montezuma Creek.

This is Cave 7 and the surrounding area.

Cave 7 was very integral in the discovery of the Basketmakers.

My first visit was to owl pictograph that I had seen in some rock art books.

On the way back to Green River I stopped in Cisco, Utah. It is a ghost town by all accounts.

After I filled up with gas in Green River and bought a water I went south a few miles to an old missile base.

On my way home I had one more stop. An old mine outside of Sunnyside, Utah. This place was creepy. I spent most of my time in the abandoned bath house. It had tiles all over which were a strange shade of green. This is the creepiest building I have been in so far in Utah.

And finally, on the way home, I saw a train which I thought looked photo worthy. This is a large panorama and looks better large.
