This last weekend, I traveled around the Book Cliffs of Utah. On my journey I visited two rock art panels and the town of Cisco, Utah which is nearly a ghost town now. Also, my travels took me to an old missile base near Green River and finally I explored the Kaiser Mine bath house just outside of Sunnyside, Utah. All of these places were great.

My first visit was to owl pictograph that I had seen in some rock art books.

On the way back to Green River I stopped in Cisco, Utah. It is a ghost town by all accounts.

After I filled up with gas in Green River and bought a water I went south a few miles to an old missile base.

On my way home I had one more stop. An old mine outside of Sunnyside, Utah. This place was creepy. I spent most of my time in the abandoned bath house. It had tiles all over which were a strange shade of green. This is the creepiest building I have been in so far in Utah.

And finally, on the way home, I saw a train which I thought looked photo worthy. This is a large panorama and looks better large.

This is the photoblog of Kevin Wellard. It mostly consists of fine art images taken while on my photo trips. Right now, my focus is on Utah's beautiful landscapes. However, I have done large projects on Idaho and other locations. Those images will be posted soon.
